How do I know if I might need help for my child?
Every child is unique. Each develops at his or her own pace and style but there are several situations when it is recommended that you seek further evaluation of your child:
- Parents, family members, or child care workers have concerns about your child’s development
- Your child has health needs that could affect development
- Your child’s development and skills are immature or unusual compared to peers
What age should my child be to start therapy?
Now! Research shows that the first five years are a crucial phase of development and the earlier intervention efforts are made during these years, the lower the likelihood of future problems and the more positive the outcomes will be.

How soon can I begin? Is there a waiting list?
Appointments are coordinated to match the therapist’s skills with your child’s need. Scheduling varies depending on the type of service being requested. Most children can be scheduled within a week from the initial call. Early evening or weekend appointments are also available. Schedule an appointment today.
Will my insurance pay for services?
Guarantee of payment is due at time of services and a receipt of payment is issued. You may submit receipts to insurance carriers for personal reimbursement. Payments may be made by check or credit card. Insurance plans differ widely regarding therapy authorization, length of coverage, and extent of reimbursement. Insurance may require a doctor's referral, but this does not guarantee coverage.
