NEW! Psychological & Developmental Services

• We’ve added a team of Psychologists to our staff to offer psychological, educational, and behavioral assessments and consultations, including recommendations for school based services or other therapies for children and youth ages birth to 21.
• Private Pay options are now available for our Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy services.
• We will be offering Social Skills sessions for children ages 3 to 13 with Autism and other language and behavior challenges.

Learn more about these services:

Assessment Services:

• Psychological & educational evaluations, for children ages 0-21.
• Specialization in diagnosis and recommendations for children and youth ages 0-21 with autism and developmental disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, language delays, anxiety, and related behavioral issues. We also provide school readiness assessments and IQ testing.
• School observations and classroom consultations, when appropriate.

Individual and Group Treatment:

• Individual, family, and group therapy sessions
• Multi-session group therapy packages to help parents learn hands-on practical strategies to
  address their child’s and family’s goals.
• Several series of age appropriate social skills classes thoughtfully planned for preschool children through adolescents, with selected activities that will increase comfort and success in social (e.g., family, school, community) situations, while parents observe, then meet with the Psychologist.
• Occupational, Speech, Physical Therapy sessions.

Consultation:

• Consultation with school personnel, pediatricians, private therapists, and other medical/service providers on evaluation findings, as well as treatment and/or educational recommendations.

All services are provided by credentialed and experienced professionals who are committed to assisting children and families.

Other services available to help families, caregivers, teachers, and the community:

Gatepath’s psychologists and therapists will also lead parent, caregiver, and school staff focused educational sessions to best support the children and adolescents in their care. Topics are selected based on input from parents and educators about areas that would be most helpful to them.

We offer:

• Educational sessions/discussions that will help parents with behavioral, developmental, and educational issues related to their child (e.g., strategies for handling behavior, facilitating development, helping with school, social and other issues, advocating for services, etc.).
• Special sessions for school district staff on behavioral, developmental, and educational issues (e.g., understanding of disabilities and related behaviors, strategies for handling these behaviors, facilitating development, helping with school, social, and other issues, etc.).
