Jerry Martin Director of Adult Services

Jerry Martin first started his work towards helping individuals with disabilities in 1970 as a counselor at Goodwill Industries in Milwaukee, WI. He moved to California in 1980 where he managed the vocational services for Easter Seal Society (which later merged with Polar Care and renamed Community Gatepath) of San Mateo County the next 14 years. He served as an Associate Executive Director at the Arc-San Francisco and as Parca’s Director of Programs before returning to Gatepath in 2008. Martin earned a Bachelor Degree from University of Wisconsin- Madison and a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Administration from Southern Illinois University. He is a founding member of the San Mateo Commission on Disabilities.
