Film & Media Arts Classes


Our film and media arts classes provide instruction on the filmmaking process, such as scripting, directing, acting, camera work and editing. Discover your creative talent by learning stage makeup techniques, costume design, special effects and making props. If you love Sci-Fi, anime, fantasy gaming, mythology, cosplay, and all things Comic-Con, you will love this collaborative class. Classes for teens and adults of ALL abilities, and adapted to individuals with autism, ADHD or other learning and developmental differences.

Class Schedule - TRY FIRST CLASS FREE (For new students only)

  • 4-week sessions
    • Fridays (ages 18 and up) and Saturdays (ages 8 to 17)
    • Mid-session entry is permitted -- class tuition will be prorated

Catherine Lee, Program Instructor, Gatepath Social Connection

Catherine Lee began her career in filmmaking more than 20 years ago as the producer for a show broadcast on public access television. Catherine spent more than two and a half years as an instructor and outreach coordinator for the Futures Explored Practical Film and Media Workshop, a franchise of Joey Travolta's Inclusion Films, where she supported the vocational training program classes for adults with developmental disabilities. Catherine holds a degree in psychology and is working on journalism degree.
