Gatepath is thrilled to announce that it is now providing children's therapy services previously offered by Associated Learning and Language Specialists, Inc. (ALLS), an organization that's been delivering services to families in the greater Bay Area for more than 30 years.

With the addition of more than 20 former ALLS therapists and staff members to the Gatepath team, we are now able to expand our therapy services on the Peninsula and into the Silicon Valley. This includes providing services to several school districts and supporting families that are part of the San Andreas Regional Center.

Pamela Joy, who founded ALLS in 1980, is approaching her retirement and wanted to ensure that the talented therapists and educators at ALLS would be able continue their important work. She sought out Gatepath because she was confident we would carry on her tradition of offering caring and compassionate therapeutic services. Our two organizations have very similar missions, namely to “Empower people with special needs to achieve their full potential through innovative, inclusive programs and community partnerships.”

We're very excited to have more staff dedicated to helping the children in our community thrive. To find our new locations, please visit our website.

Honoring Pamela Joy for 30 Years of Dedicated Service to Bay Area Families

Pamela Joy, the founder of Associated Learning and Language Specialists, Inc. (ALLS), is regarded as a pioneer of children's therapy services in the Bay Area. Pamela and her team of therapists have touched the lives of an estimated 65,000 children and families since 1980. We are grateful for Pamela's longtime dedication and service to our community, and we are honored that she has entrusted Gatepath to carry on the important work she started. Pamela is an incredible teacher, leader and therapy innovator. One of her most notable accomplishments is developing the Arrowsmith Program® for neuro-cognitive enhancement in California -- a groundbreaking program that addresses the variance in a child's learning style and is widely used by therapists throughout the state. We wish Pamela all the best in her retirement, and we are confident that her passion for helping children will continue impacting our community for years to come. We thank Pamela for all she has done to improve the lives of so many families here in the Bay Area.
